Administrative Assistant to the Mayor, City Administrator, and City Council

  • Processed purchase orders for the department; issued purchase orders to vendors; prepared claims for payment; requested quotes from vendors.

  • Assisted in preparing, coordinating, and monitoring the assigned budget; followed up with administrators’ staff to ensure deadlines, meetings, and schedules were met.

  • Office manager of corporate office in Omaha, NE.  Organized and participated in all executive meetings.  Coordinated all corporate board of directors meetings that included preparing presentation for quarterly meetings and annual shareholder event.  Also created presentations for potential acquisition clients.

  • Human resources responsibilities:  handling confidential materials such as salary and personnel information, company policies and procedures, goals and objective tracking, bonus calculations, and stock option management. Created a human resources database that tracked current employee information such as stock options, bonuses, goals and objectives.  Created and implemented first company travel policy.
